The suspected shooter, a 43-year-old man who police mentioned had no affiliation to the college, was discovered lifeless with a self-inflicted gunshot wound following a confrontation with legislation enforcement in the adjoining metropolis of Lansing, mentioned Chris Rozman, interim deputy chief of the Michigan State College Police.
